The Orange County Mining Co.
Though pricey, the Orange County Mining Co. provides the best panoramic views of the city of Orange in a California silver-mining setting---the rustic structure creates an Old West atmosphere and is nestled high upon a hill. The restaurant is decorated with artifacts from nineteenth century silver mines and is a great place to stop after a hike through the canyons. The menu boasts steak, seafood and pasta. Entrees range from $20 to $30.

The Veggie Grill
Though the two Veggie Grill locations in Irvine do not offer a spectacular view, they are both relatively close to the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary, a swampland preserve that's a prime spot for bird watching.
