Log Cabins in the Smoky Mountains, Tennessee

Log Cabins in the Smoky Mountains, Tennessee
The Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee are an outdoor lover's Appalachian paradise. The area is full of history as well. Great Smoky Mountains National Park claims to have the largest collection of historic log buildings in the eastern United States. These were left behind in the 1930s when the park was born. If you rent a log cabin for a Smokies vacation in Tennessee, you'll have more conveniences than the settlers did. But the rustic feel and proximity to the park and all of its trails are hard to beat.

Bentwood Ridge Resort

The family-owned Bentwood Ridge Resort cabins sit on a wooded ridge with lovely mountain views. Each one-, two- or four-bedroom cabin has a hot tub, kitchen and wood-burning fireplace. Once you've finished exploring the grounds at the resort, take the trolley into the heart of Pigeon Forge, less than five miles away. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is about a 13-mile drive through Pigeon Forge and then Gatlinburg. If you're bringing a pet to Bentwood Ridge Resort, get approval first, and expect to pay a pet fee.
