Marmont Steakhouse and Bar

The Marmont Steakhouse and Bar is the only steak house in the Olde City section of Philadelphia. It hand-cuts all of the steaks on site, and there is a choice of seven different cuts. The atmosphere is casual, family friendly, and there is the option to dine outside in the summer. The menu features filet mignon, New York strip steak, rib eye, cowboy steak, porterhouse, filet Oscar, grilled chicken, grilled scallops and homemade meatloaf. Prices in 2009 range from about $19.59 to $45.

The Grandview Saloon

The Grandview Saloon is the only restaurant on Mt. Washington with outdoor deck dining. The restaurant has a business-casual style and is family friendly with special kid's choices on the menu. The beef is all USDA prime, and the cuisine is a mix of Texas BBQ, Southwest flavors, classical French and Italian. The menu features filet mignon, New York strip steak, Delmonico steak, filet mignon Cabernet, chicken Marsala, Cajun-grilled cod, shrimp scampi, crab cakes and veal Oscar. Prices in 2009 range from about $21 to $35.

Johnny's Bar & Steakhouse

Johnny's Bar & Steakhouse has been opened since 2006 and has a modern decor and a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The menu features center cut filet mignon, porterhouse, Black Angus prime rib, center cut top sirloin, New York strip steak, ribeye, grilled center cut pork chop, chicken Oscar and broiled Maryland-style crab cakes. Prices in 2009 range from about $17 to $28.

Black Angus Steakhouse

The Black Angus Steakhouse has its own brewery next door. The steaks are all hand trimmed and the ingredients are locally produced and organic whenever possible. The restaurant is family friendly with a special kid's menu. The menu features New York sirloin steak, Black Angus filet mignon, grilled Delmonico steak, rack of lamb, European-style chicken breast and colossal dry sea scallops. Prices in 2009 range from about $18 to $39.
