Drifter's Reef Motel
Just north of Kure Beach is the town of Carolina Beach, home to Carolina Beach State Park and its six miles of trails as well as the Drifter's Reef Motel. A 57-unit, two-story motel with a lighthouse-shaped front, the Drifter's Reef offers simple accommodations at a reasonable price. All rooms come equipped with refrigerators and microwaves, while a seasonal outdoor pool is the largest on the island.
