Patchogue is a village on the south shore of Long Island. It is a waterfront community on the Great South Bay, in Suffolk County. Fire Island Seashore is close by and offers beaches, a lighthouse and hiking trails through the Sunken Forest, a 40-acre wilderness area. During the summer months the Sunken Forest Nature Trail winds over sand dunes through several different ecosystems; the trail is approximately 1 mile long.

Their chicken tikka is succulent and aromatic as are the various rice dishes, including a savory vegetable pilau.

Raga is an Indian restaurant that can also be described as romantic. Raga features a dark wood bar with snowy white linens in the spacious dining room and low lighting, with attentive service. The chicken tikka masala is savory and seasoned with cream and a touch of tomato. The chicken luknawi is a house specialty: chicken marinated in yogurt, garlic, ginger, roasted peanuts and roasted red chilies, which is both spicy and savory.
