Salvatore's Italian Restaurant‎

Salvatore's has been serving Italian cuisine in Grand Rapids since 1976. Salvatore's offers a diverse menu including steaks, pasta and seafood in addition to their famous subs and pizza. The restaurant is ideally situated for hikers coming off the trails at the nearby Blandford Nature Center, and dress is casual. Salvatore's is open seven days a week, and, as of 2009, prices for entrees range from $10 to $20.

Rak Thai Bistro

The Rak Thai Bistro serves authentic Thai food, Thai fusion and a large selection of noodle dishes including several options for vegetarian diners. Rak Thai is a five minute drive from Powers Outdoors Adventures, which serves as a hub for area kayak and canoe excursions. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday for both lunch and dinner. As of 2009, a party of two could expect to pay from $40 to $60 for dinner at Rak Thai.

Bud & Stanley's Pub and Grub

Bud & Stanley's has been a Grand Rapids dining and entertainment favorite since 1999. It's open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Located about mile away from the hiking and cross-country skiing at Donald Lamoreaux Park, Bud & Stanley's has a casual atmosphere perfect for hikers looking for a meal. There are daily specials, a kid's menu and meals ranging from $7 to $20.
