McArdles Resort in Bena has ice fishing trips available on Lake Winnibigoshish (Winnie). It offers heated fish house rentals with eight fishing holes per house. The Sportsman Lodge for Ice Fishing
The Sportsman Lodge offers ice fishing with heated fish houses that house four to six people. The four-person house has eight holes and the six-person house has 12 holes. Each house has a card table, poles, bait, tackle, lights and chairs. Some of the fish houses have attached bathrooms. At this lodge, the guide takes you to the fish house between six to eight in the morning and picks you up between four and six in the evening. After the day of fishing, you travel back to the lodge where you can dine at the lodge's dining room or go back to your cabin and cook your fish.

A third choice for ice fishing trips is Lake Mille Lacs Ice House Rentals. This facility has four and eight hole houses to choose from. These fishing houses are equipped with a propane furnace, lights, reels, hot plates, chairs, padded mattresses and a table. With this trip some supplies need to be brought with you since this is not a lodge. Anglers need to bring sleeping bags, snacks, cooking utensils, bait and tackle if choosing this trip for an ice fishing adventure.
