Restaurants in Nanuet, New York
Officially designated a hamlet within the town of Clarkstown, New York, Nanuet is located about 19 miles north of Manhattan. "Money" magazine named the town of 16,708 people (as of the 2000 census) the 24th best place to live in the United States in 2007. While there have been many great fossil finds in the area, and the rocky terrain makes for exciting outdoor recreation, the town probably gained the most notoriety from the Maxwell Anderson play, "High Tor" that was based on a bank robbery that took place in the area.
