With close proximity to Puget Sound, the city enjoys moderate temperatures in the 70s in the summer and 40s in the winter, with little to no snowfall. Yearly events include "Whaling Days," a weekend event that features boat races and a giant duck race. Oxford Suites--Silverdale

Oxford Inns, Suites and Hotels are among the classiest places to stay in scenic Silverdale, Washington. First opened in 1989, Oxford Suites is the brainchild of the Baney family. In the hospitality business since the 1950s, the Baney Corporation decided in 1988 to develop the idea of the Oxford Suites. Found primarily in the Pacific Northwest, the suites are built near high-traffic areas to take advantage of local shopping and restaurants. If you are looking for something more rustic or off the path, Oxford isn't your place. However, if you prefer clean, comfortable rooms at great prices, coupled with a friendly staff, then don't skip this place.
