Rayville, Louisiana is situated near many of the state's natural attractions, including D'Arbonne National Wildlife Refuge and Chemin-A-Haut State Park. While there are a few low-budget hotels in town, most accommodations are located in the slightly larger town of Monroe, about 20 miles away. Monroe is also 30 miles closer to the parks.

Marriott's Residence Inn is a family hotel close to "Antique Alley" in Monroe (17 miles from Rayville). The property offers fully-equipped suites with separate sitting and kitchen areas, a complimentary hot breakfast, free Internet and a pool. As the name implies, the Residence Inn is a good choice if you're planning to stay a while.

Wingate by Windham

Wingate hotels consistently achieve high ratings on travel sites and customer surveys. Amenities are comparable to the Marriott listed above, including free hot breakfast, wireless Internet, fitness center and pool.
