Mystic, Connecticut, is a New England getaway destination in southeastern Connecticut. Mystic's quaint New England charm resonates on the banks of the Mystic River. Home of the popular Mystic Seaport maritime museum, the area also has many outdoor activities. Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center has eight miles of hiking trails. Visitors can sail the Mystic River or partake in watersports at the nearby Rhode Island coastline. Mystic is famous for its pizza, but also has several outstanding seafood restaurants.

Go Fish

Go Fish is one of Mystic's most popular seafood restaurants. The restaurant houses a black granite sushi bar, raw bar, coffee bar and wine bar. The dining room is decorated with vivid colors, including glossy blue tables. Lobster ravioli and crab cakes are menu favorites. It's open for dinner seven days a week.

Cove Fish Market

Cove Fish Market is a casual family restaurant with indoor seating and an outdoor clam shack. The restaurant is known for its award-winning clam chowder, lobster rolls and clam fritters. The Cove also has a fish market with fresh fish for sale daily. It also has a catering and takeout business.

Seamen's Inne Restaurant & Pub

Seamen's Inne Restaurant & Pub is located on the Mystic River and is down the street from the Mystic Seaport museum. You can dine in the casual pub or the candlelit elegant dining room, with views of the river. In the summer months, you can dine al fresco on the lawn. The menu is seasonal and includes Baked New England Cod and Seamen's Inne Seafood Pie.

S&P Oyster Company

The highly rated S&P Oyster Company is located in downtown Mystic overlooking Mystic River. The menu includes the house specialty, oysters, along with lobster, Yellowfin Tuna, Alaskan King Crab Legs and S&P's Famous Bread Pudding. Reservations are not accepted, but you can call ahead for priority seating.
