Brazilian Restaurants in Long Island
Long Island is an island located in the southeast of New York. It is famous for outdoor activities both in the winter and in other seasons. Some of these include sledding, sleighing and hiking. The city is no stranger to diversity and boasts a fair share of restaurants representing different ethnic tastes. One up and coming style of food is Brazilian. After working up a hunger by exercising, be sure to try some of these authentic Brazilian restaurants.

Brasas Brazilian Steakhouse

This Brazilian restaurant specializes in preparing steak. Known as a churrascaria, it serves meat mostly grilled, one entree at a time. The style of preparation is called "rodizio," which is a style of serving different cuts of meat that originated in Brazil. Meat dishes range from sirloin to chicken and turkey. A salad bar also is available for those who are after meat alternatives. The large portions here more than make up for the small location.
