Aberdeen is home to Light of Bengal Indian restaurant. Since 1978, the Light of Bengal has supplied Aberdeen with Indian appetizers, entrees and drinks. The restaurant is on Rose Street, one of the main streets in Aberdeen. Light of Bengal has recently been remodeled to give a modern feel to classic cuisine. Britannia Spice

Britannia Spice offers not only Indian cuisine, but Bangladeshi, Nepali and Thai as well. This restaurant has won a number of awards, including the Best in Britain and British Curry Awards, in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Britannia Spice is near the Ocean Terminal shopping center and is accessible by a number of Edinburgh bus lines.

Blue Moon Restaurant

The Blue Moon Restaurant is in Aberdeen's city center. The restaurant is modern and does not look like a traditional Indian restaurant. With a variety of curry and other traditional meals, Blue Moon Restaurant boasts some of the finest Indian cuisine in Aberdeen. Since 2001, this restaurant has been voted Aberdeen's Restaurant of the Year.
