The Flagstaff House Restaurant

The Flagstaff House Restaurant is at 6,000 feet of elevation on Flagstaff Mountain and has been in the Monette Family since 1929. The restaurant has been the recipient of the Wine Spectator Grand Award, Mobil Four Star Award, Triple AAA Four Diamond Award and the DiRoNA Award.

The restaurant's menu offers fresh seafood flown in daily and game from the surrounding Rocky Mountains. The Flagstaff offers gourmet desserts and houses a 20,000-bottle wine cellar.

John's Restaurant

John's Restaurant in downtown Boulder on the Pearl Street Mall has made Zagat's "World's Top Restaurants." The restaurant offers a menu of seafood, wild game and other traditional American fare. The superb food, drink and service are only part of what distinguishes John's. The owners of the restaurant are siblings, chef Corey Buck and Ashley Maxwell. John's offers a three-course dinner and wine pairing at a special price.

The Boulder Cork

The Boulder Cork has been part of Boulder's gourmet restaurant lineup since 1969. The restaurant is in the Glenwood Grove--North Iris neighborhood. Chef Jim Smailer offers a traditional American cuisine including market-fresh steaks, seafood and pastas. The Cork has a casual atmosphere, but the food and beverage offering has produced awards from Wine Spectator and a four-star rating from OpenTable.com. The restaurant offers a special seafood menu on Sundays for its Sundays Surf Club.

The Kitchen

The Kitchen is newer to the culinary scene in Boulder, opening in 2004. The restaurant's casual atmosphere and eclectic menu has made it a popular place to dine for locals and visitors to the area. The menus at The Kitchen change seasonally, and the restaurant prides itself on its eco-friendly practices. The Kitchen has Community Hour on weekdays from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and offers its family-style menu items and drinks at a discount.
