Taste of India prides itself on the wide variety of Indian cuisines offered on the menu. The restaurant's website educates diners about the diverse flavors and tastes of Indian cuisine, and the menu offers a little something for everyone, from traditional vindaloos and masalas to different types of vegetarian curry.

The restaurant is located between Brown University and Providence Harbor, so whether you have been touring the campus or checking out the park at Fox Point, Taste of India is not too far away.

Rasoi

In Hindi, "Rasoi" means kitchen. Chef Sanjiv Dhar opened Rasoi, where the kitchen can be seen from each of the 85 seats in the restaurant. The menu offers more than a dozen vegetarian options and more than 20 meat-based entrees. There are special menus throughout the year, as well as cooking classes that include a wine tasting.

Bombay Club

Located just off I-95, the Bombay Club serves north Indian cuisine in a casual atmosphere with a full bar and a non-smoking dining room. The menu features well-known Indian dishes: chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo and plenty of naan options. The restaurant's website says: "We are also able to prepare special dishes to your complete culinary satisfaction."
