Kingfisher Charters and Lodge
Kingfisher Lodge offers comfortable accommodations overlooking gorgeous Sitka Sound. Every floor of their five lodge buildings contains guest rooms, private baths, kitchens, spacious living rooms and a deck to sit back and relax on after a long day of fishing. All meals are prepared by the on-site chef who works with fresh Alaskan ingredients to create delicious cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
At Kingfisher Charters, you're able to fish for both salmon and halibut on the same day. Most other charter services require you to fish for one or the other in a single day.
After a big day of fishing, your catch will be cleaned, cut into 1 lb. pieces, vacuum sealed and then flash frozen in one a walk-in blast freezer. When your trip is over, your fish will be packed into insulated, wet-lock boxes that will keep it frozen all the way to its destination.
