It won't be hard to work up an appetite on a river boat cruise along the Blackstone River; then head over for 14-ounce filet mignon that will melt in your mouth! If you have really worked up a savage hunger, try the 48-ounce porterhouse served with shallots and Portabello confit. Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie, the owners, are two of the local favorite pro football players, so watch for them.

Order the corn-fed western beef 12-ounce filet mignon at a mere $34.99 or the U.S.D.A .prime 22-ounce porterhouse for $46.99 (Prices are as of 2009.) Check out the amazing wine list and revel in some of the specialty drinks like mojitos, martinis and margaritas. Have an after-dinner cognac or a Compari. This restaurant is a lovely retreat after a day of roughing it outdoors. Make your reservations online or call ahead to this amazing Providence eatery.
