Bolling Air Force Base Air Force Inn
This temporary lodging facility has suites with rates beginning at $52 a night. It has a rental car agency on base, which you'll need because there's no metro stop nearby. You can, however, easily drive to the Capitol Mall area, where you can see the Lincoln, Vietnam and World War II Memorials, all the Smithsonian Museums and, of course, the Capitol Building at the opposite end of the mall from the memorials. If you do have a car, you can also drive to such additional historic sights as Mt. Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery, all of which are within a few minutes' driving time.

Army and Navy Club
This is also one of the most conveniently located military lodging facilities, as it's located just two blocks from DuPont Circle and a red line metro stop that's less than 10 minutes from the Capitol Mall area. The DuPont Circle area also boasts the best dining in the D.C. area, with numerous restaurants featuring all types of cuisine within easy walking distance. Due to its prime location, however, it's also quite pricey, with non-member rooms costing over $200 a night, not including tax. The amenities are, however, first rate, and include breakfast each morning but Sunday, fine dining (not included in the room rate), and a high-end souvenir shop.
