Cajun Yard Dog
Cajun Yard Dog is located about 20 minutes south of uptown, in the Arboretum area. The menu is a fusion of Cajun and Southern. Oyster po' boys and crawfish etoufee meet fried chicken and meatloaf. Cajun Yard Dog, named for the slang term for an alligator, features live entertainment every Friday and Saturday evening. Beer and wine are available.

Cajun Queen
Located in a single-family home from 1918, the Cajun Queen is marked by the giant green alligator atop a purple throne. The menu is gourmet Cajun and Creole, with daily specials and fresh fish. Drinks include an assortment of beer and a New Orleans-themed cocktail list, like Gator Juice and Swamp Water. With live jazz seven days a week, the Cajun Queen aims to capture the true spirit of New Orleans. The restaurant has a rooftop terrace and large rooms for private parties and receptions.
