Dorchester is a market town located in the southern county of Dorset, England. It is a place with a long and diverse history, especially that of Roman influence. The town is still home to remnants from this time period, including a Roman Amphitheater and a well preserved Roman Town House. Though it doesn't sit on the water, Dorchester is an ideal location for exploring the coast and the region's museums, markets and fine restaurants.
