The Cliff House

A nationally recognized dining experience in Manitou Springs is at The Cliff House dining room located in another fabulous mansion at the base of Pikes Peak. Built as a boarding house in 1873, The Cliff House has been sleeping and feeding guests longer than Colorado has been a state. The Cliff House has been awarded the AAA four-diamond fine-dining rating and serves everything from rabbit and rattlesnake quesadilla to Colorado lamb. The dining room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Vegetarian dishes are available on request. Adam's Mountain Cafe

Adam's Mountain Cafe has been serving customers since the 1980s. Every menu item is prepared fresh without microwaves, fryers or heat lamps. It prides itself on "slow cooking," which means this is not the place to eat if you are in a hurry. Adam's serves vegetarian, seafood and poultry. Adam's has one of the most eclectic menus of the most delicious foods you will find. You can start your day with orange almond French toast, whole-grain pancakes or other healthy choices. A lunch of roasted salmon or chicken and cashew sandwiches, or a dinner of Spanish style tapas can be ordered in or for takeout. Adam's sells its own organic coffee blend roasted locally, wine and beer. The decor is comfortable and low key with antiques, Persian rugs and local artwork.
