Curtis Peterson Park
Those wanting to enjoy a little bit of everything outdoors will want to visit Curtis Peterson Park on Lake John. Situated on 38 acres of land, this park offers recreational activities for all ages. Boaters can use the park's boat ramp to launch their boats and fish in Lake John. There is also a fishing pier for those wanting to fish from shore. The park has nature trails, an 1,100-foot boardwalk, playground, picnic pavilions, restrooms and a baseball field. The park is open year-round, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Golf Club at Bridgewater
Recognized by Golf Week as one of the "Top Courses You Can Play" in 2008, Bridgewater is a semi-private club that offers championship golf. The course has 18 holes, with a 19th hole added for celebration. Built in 2007, Bridgewater offers a secluded, tree-lined course without the interference of surrounding homes. The course was developed to give golfers of all experience levels a challenge. The greens average around 10,000 square feet, with every hole being distinctly different.

Lake Parker Park
If experiencing a little bit of natural Florida is what you are looking for, visit Lake Parker Park. This 100-acre park on Lake Parker, abounds with native plants left in their natural state. Nature enthusiasts enjoy hiking the nature trails and watching for the many bird species that frequent the park. The park also boasts having one of the nicest lawn-bowling fields in the U.S. Other recreational activities include shuffleboard, volleyball, tennis, soccer, playgrounds and picnic area.
