The Bear's Den

The Bear's Den is a two-story log cabin home that is located inside of a small, gated mountain community in Maggie Valley. Large open air decks are found on both levels of a cabin that has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The Bear's Den boasts a gurgling creek nearby and is 30 minutes away from the entrance to the Smokies. The Cataloochee Ranch and Ski Resort is only a 5-minute drive away. Pets are not allowed. There is a minimum three-night required stay at the Bear's Den and a $150 security deposit. The starting rate as of 2009 is $139 per night.

Brown Log Cabin Retreat

The Brown Log Cabin Retreat features a hot tub, table tennis, and a wood burning fireplace. The home has central air and heating and is a two-story log cabin with spacious covered porches on both levels. The Blue Ridge Parkway, where you may enjoy autumn foliage, is only a 15-minute drive away. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, wireless Internet, free long distance calls and a garage. The Brown Log Cabin retreat has three bedrooms and three baths. There is a security deposit of $200 with a two-night minimum stay. No pets and no smoking are allowed. The starting rate as of 2009 is $175 per night.

Country Cabins

The Country Cabins reside just outside of downtown Maggie Valley and features two and a half acres of privacy, complete with two small mountain streams running through the property. Each cabin has a wood burning fireplace and features rocking chairs and covered porches so that you can enjoy the Southern Appalachian culture and comfort while relaxing at your cabin. There are five different cabins to choose from on the property, ranging from Little Cabin, which sleeps two, to Wildcat Run, which can sleep up to eight. The Country Cabins are pet friendly and come furnished with cable TV. Four of the cabins on the property have lofts. Lastly, the Country Cabins has a community hot-tub located in the center of the property. As of 2009, the starting rate for the basic two-person cabin is $105 per night.
