Best Western Lake Superior Lodge

Lake Superior, the Madeline Islands and the Bayfield Apple Orchards are within retreat of the Best Western Lake Superior Lodge. Within a mile of the hotel, guests can enjoy a hiking or hunting experience. Just 20 miles away, charter fishing is available at the Apostle Islands. The lodge is conveniently pet-friendly, though there are restrictions on where pets can be. Pets are not permitted in the hotel lobby or near the pool area. Fees are $10 nightly for pets with a $50 refundable deposit. American cuisine (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is served on the premises at the Lake Rock Cafe.

Winfield Inn and Gardens

With the presence of the Bayfield Peninsula and Lake Superior in view, the Winnfield Inn offers nightly and monthly vacation cottage rentals for those looking for their "home away." Located in Bayfield, the hotel's proximity to Lake Superior provides guests with numerous outdoor activities. Kayaking, big-water sailing and fishing are among these activities. Only dogs are permitted, and there is a $15 fee per pet. This hotel offers accommodations that range from hilltop suites overlooking the Apostle Islands to guest rooms replete with full kitchens.
