Old Pier House
A Kure Beach institution, the Old Pier House is located just fifty feet from the entrance way to the Kure Beach Pier. They serve American fare and fresh seafood including shrimp, fish and chips and the catch of the day. Old Pier House offers diner-style eating with plenty of pictures of Hurricane Hazel damage (1954) featured. The food is good, but smoking is allowed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served.

Freddie's Restaurante
Formerly known as Freddie's Oceanside Grill, Freddie's Restaurante is now an Italian bistro, noted for its grilled chicken, grilled shrimp and grilled steak. Owner Barbara Gagan makes her very own salad dressing, which features special spices and oils and can be bought by the pint separately. Italian food choices include lasagna, mushroom ravioli and eggplant parmigiana. Seafood ravioli and shrimp scampi are included among the sea fare.

Big Daddy's Restaurant
Offering seafood, strip steak and American fare, Big Daddy's Restaurant features an all-you-can-eat salad bar, special plates for children and seniors, combination platters and a variety of seafood and beef entries. Open from March until around Thanksgiving, Big Daddy's has a liquor license and can host large parties and special events.
