Il Barilotto
Il Barilotto, open since 2000, is an Italian trattoria-style restaurant and wine bar with influences of Italy, France and Spain. Recently awarded by Hudson Valley Magazine for its "Best Wine by the Glass," Il Barilotto is a popular, casual-chic meeting spot for locals and visitors. The eatery is open for lunch and dinner, with lunch menu items including antipasti from $9 to $11, salads and paninis from $7 to $10, followed by a large selection of pastas and entrees from $13 to about $16. Some, like the Angus sirloin steak, are served with a vegetable and potato. Side dishes are also available.
For dinner, the menu includes a large antipasti selection ranging in price from about $9 to $11, specialty salads such as Insalata Di Barbabietole consisting of roasted beets, endive and baby arugula, toasted walnuts and riccota salata with a red wine vinaigrette priced from $7. Paninis are also offered for dinner along with a large variety of entrees including fish, lamb, pork, veal, duck and steak offered at $23 to $28.
Hours of operation for lunch are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner is served Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sunday.

Maya Café
Maya Café refers to itself as a Mexican kitchen and cantina and boasts authentic Mexican atmosphere, full bar and house specialties. From a classic Mexican breakfast of chorizo con huevo (scrambled eggs and sausage) or huevos rancheros (over-easy eggs on a crisp tortilla with salsa and cheese) to Maya Café dinner favorite, huachinango al mojo de ajo, red snapper sautéed in garlic sauce with spinach and rice, authentic Mexican dishes abound at this cheerful café. Tanjore
Zagat's 2007 rated this Indian restaurant in Fishkill as "excellent." Located on Main Street, Tanjore specializes in Southern Indian cuisine, emphasizing rice as a staple and including a wide variety of vegetarian and fish dishes. True to the style of cuisine for which the restaurant is named, Tanjore uses chilies, coconut and bold spices to prepare its classic Indian specialties, including lamb, chicken and seafood.
Restaurant favorites include tabac maz, New Zealand lamb chops in a white pepper, ginger and mint marinade, then grilled in the tandoor. Some spicy dishes are also included. All the traditional Indian basmati rice dishes are available, too. Prices range from appetizers for $3.95 to $8.95 to entrees topping at $17.95. There is even a limited kids' menu that offers chicken nuggets or fries. Tanjore has on-site catering and weekday and weekend all-you-can-eat buffets and is open seven days a week. Weekday lunch buffet is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday brunch from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner is served nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
