Put-in-Bay is an island nestled in the northwest shore of Lake Erie, north of the Ohio shoreline and south of the Canadian border. Also called South Bass Island, visitors can reach the island by ferry, boat or plane. Known for its fine wineries, the island is home to historical sites, the world's longest bar, caves, museums, many outdoor activities, fishing, boating, para-sailing and hotels with exceptional accommodations. Visitors to Put-in-Bay have the choice of several resorts, hotels and bed and breakfasts, most with beautiful views of the lake or harbor.

Put-in-Bay Resort & Conference Center

This is a luxury resort located one block from the famous Roundhouse Bar and in the heart of the downtown nightlife. It's home to the Blue Marlin Bar & Grill and the world's largest hot tub, a 40-person Jacuzzi and heated pool. The resort features standard, deluxe and grand suites that can accommodate eight people. Beginning in spring 2010, the resort will add Key West-inspired, three-story villas that sleep eight to 10 people and will be located adjacent to the hotel. Breakfast is included, as is access to the resort's golf cart, bicycle, and moped rentals.

Commodore Hotel

This hotel is located on Delaware Avenue, the main downtown street in the village of Put-in-Bay, central to the popular nightlife, restaurants, attractions, shopping. It features deluxe rooms, luxury suites and a 135-foot deck with a 25-foot veranda overlooking the island's downtown and the Put-In-Bay waterfront. Edgewater Hotel

Harriet's House

More than 130 years old, Harriet's House is one of the island's oldest homes. Completely restored and expanded in 2005, the house is located in the heart of downtown and has privileges with the Resort & Conference Center. Whole-house rental accommodates 10, four separate suites that sleep six. Golf cart rentals and midweek specials available.
