Pet Friendly Hotels in Folkestone, England

Pet Friendly Hotels in Folkestone, England
Folkestone in Kent is a southern English seaside resort famous for its smuggling history as well as its view of France across the Straits of Dover. Popular for its two long-distance footpaths, the North Downs Way and the Saxon Shore Way, Folkestone is a favorite with walkers and hikers. Birdwatchers also come here to see the migrating birds passing over Folkestone on their way to and from warmer climes. Folkestone is a relaxed town, which you can see in the many pet-friendly hotels.

Wycliffe Hotel

This family-run hotel in the west end of Folkestone is close to the town center and convenient for the Channel Tunnel. The Wycliffe Hotel is situated in its own large garden where, in the summer, the hotel often has barbecues. It offers single, standard and twin rooms, most with ensuite bathroom, the others with a bathroom close by. A full English breakfast is cooked every morning or, if you don't want to overload yourself before that long hike on the downs, you can choose a Continental breakfast. With two dogs of their own, the owners are pet-friendly and happy to have you bring yours along for a small charge.
