German Restaurants in Longmont, Colorado
Although there are no restaurants located directly in Longmont serving German cuisine, a plethora of options can be found in the surrounding areas of Lyons, Boulder and Denver offering delicious choices, a variety of atmospheres and budgets. Whether you seek a fine dining experience or a relaxed family atmosphere, you can find it all in this area.

Andrea's Homestead Café

Andrea's Homestead Café serves a variety of authentic German dishes in addition to its American cuisine. Located in Lyons at 216 East Main Street, its proximity to Longmont is a definite plus in comparison to the other German restaurants along Colorado's Front Range. You can expect a cozy atmosphere, friendly wait staff and delicious food. The food is a bit pricey with entrees ranging from $16-25 as of 2009. This restaurant is both couple and family friendly.

Café Berlin

Located in downtown Denver near 14th and Colfax, Café Berlin caters more to the business lunch crowd than families with small children, with a business casual dress code and quieter noise levels. Most lunch options are reasonable at around $10 as of 2009, while prices rise significantly for dinner entrees. There is a European-style outdoor seating area where patrons can watch passersby while enjoying an imported German Lager on their lunch break. According to some reviews, however, service can be quite slow, so be prepared for the extra wait.

Golden Europe Restaurant

With a reputation for having some of the best sauerbraten and wiener schnitzel in town, you can't go wrong when choosing an entree at the Golden Europe Restaurant. Located just south of Longmont, this gem is hidden in residential Arvada. Both the atmosphere and the dress code are laid back, making this restaurant the perfect place to relax with your family while enjoying a home-cooked German meal.

Helga's German Restaurant & Deli

For those seeking hearty, flavorful portions delivered with fast, friendly service, Helga's German Restaurant & Deli doesn't disappoint. Located slightly further south of Longmont in Aurora, this deli is perfect for parties both large and small. The menu selection is vast, with a variety of schnitzels, sandwiches and brats from which to choose. For those of you with larger appetites, take careful note: Monday is all-you-can-eat schnitzel day.

Westfalen Hof

If you are looking for authentic German cuisine served European style, then Westfalen Hof is the restaurant for you. For its moderate price, the portion sizes are more modest than this restaurant's competitors, but the quality of the dishes more than makes up for it. To top off the fine dining experience, the seating area includes beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains.
