Bakers Sunset Bay Resort

Well mannered and people-friendly pets are welcomed at Bakers Sunset Bay Resort located on Lake Delton. The 74-unit resort is self-catering and guests can choose from a room, cabin, condo, suite or cottage. Several are designated pet-friendly rooms. Amenities include free continental breakfast, housekeeping, cable television, phones, wireless Internet, air conditioning, refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers and hair dryers. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities including the private beach, pontoon boat rental, outside and indoor pools, whirlpool, sauna and nightly bonfires. Outside activities of skiing, golfing, boating, hiking, theme parks and Christmas Mountain are within eight miles of the resort. Guests are required to sign a pet contract that outlines owner/pet responsibilities. Fees are $10 per day, per pet, as of 2009. This is a family centered resort, therefore breeds deemed "dangerous" (such as Pit Bulls and Dobermans) are not allowed. Guests should contact the resort with any pet-related questions.

Delton Oaks Resort and Vacation Homes

Open from May 1 through September 30, Delton Oaks Resort welcomes pets in all units whether a lakeside unit (10 units), economy building (17 units) lakeside cabin (2 bedrooms), or Alpine Lodge (sleeps up to 14 people). Located on serene Lake Delton yet only minutes from Wisconsin Dells' main strip, theme parks, golfing, boating and hiking, this light housekeeping resort provides household necessities including linens and towels (except beach towels). Kitchens come fully equipped and include coffeemakers, microwaves and toasters. Motel rooms have coffeemakers, microwaves and toasters. All units have air-conditioning and basic cable but no phones. The resort has a heated pool, beach area, free rowboats and paddle-boats, children's playground and laundry facilities. There is a $15 per day, per pet charge (as of 2009). Pets are not allowed on the furniture but can be left in the room unattended. Owners are responsible for any property damage. Pets must be leashed, no excessive barking and poop-patrol is expected.

Northern Bay Golf Resort and Marina

Golfing and a variety of outdoor activities are available at Northern Bay Golf Resort. Located on Castle Rock Lake in Arkdale, this year-round resort is 27 miles from Wisconsin Dells and prides itself on its Replica Holes golf course that pits golf enthusiasts against challenging holes from several legendary golf courses. Wave boats and paddle boats are available for rent and guests can boat, swim, hike, fish and cross-country ski. The resort has 150 fully furnished condos, villas and homes that sleep up to 10 people for rent or purchase. Guests are expected to toss the trash and strip the beds before leaving. Pet units are available for $20 a night plus tax (as of 2009).
