Queensland, Australia, is most famous for being the main point of access to the Great Barrier Reef and the tropical Daintree Rainforest. Brisbane Backpackers Resort

Brisbane is Queensland's largest city and features all the usual big city offerings: museums, galleries, impressive monuments, and hundreds of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Brisbane remains far enough north for day trips to Fraser Island, Moreton Island National Park and the Whitsunday Islands, and the city houses Australia's oldest koala sanctuary, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

Brisbane Backpackers Resort is a smart choice if you're basing your travels out of Brisbane, as they offer on-site recreation activities, including an outdoor hot tub and pool, games room with pool table and a half-size tennis court. Their on-site bar has nightly competitions, and if you're skilled or lucky enough you could win a free trip to Fraser Island.
