With so many things to do such as boating, biking or walking Lake Montebello, golfing, rafting, paddling or whitewater kayaking, everyone will need a bite to eat. Baltimore is famous for its steakhouses along with its crab cakes and sports teams, so anyone is sure to find a satisfying meal at one of these steak restaurants.

Morton's Steakhouse

Morton's Steakhouse is a Baltimore landmark and institution. Since 1979, Morton's has served prime aged beef, seafood and handpicked produced in its famous restaurant. According to a review at DineBaltimore.com, Morton's offers a dining experience of genuine hospitality and friendly service and is a dining experience not to be missed. Not only is it an excellent place for a small intimate lunch or dinner, but Morton's also offers private dining and meeting rooms for larger group events such as holiday celebrations, receptions and family meetings. Proper attire for dinning is business causal. Jacket and tie is not required but shorts, t-shirts and sandals are not recommended. Hours of operation are Monday to Saturday 5:30 to 11 p.m. and Sunday 5 to 10 p.m.

Shula's

Owned and operated by Don Shula's son, Shula's offers an American fine dining experience. Serving American Black Angus beef, Shula's offers not only standard steak cuts like a prime filet and New York strip, but a 48-ounce porterhouse. Those able to finish off the porterhouse join the more than 26,000 members of the 48 Ounce Club (as of 2009). Shula's also offers a wide variety of appetizers, salads and seafood items on its menu. Private dining rooms are also available for larger group meetings, receptions, wedding showers and corporate conference meetings. Because of its association with American football, Shula's also regularly offers sporting event sponsorships and tickets to games. Hours of operation are Sunday to Thursday 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Friday to Saturday 5:30 to 11 p.m. Proper attire for dinning is business causal, suit jackets are suggested but not required.

The Prime Rib

The Prime Rib is a Baltimore tradition. Open since 1965, The Prime Rib is an East Coast restaurant chain. One of its three restaurants is located in the center of the Mt. Vernon Cultural district, blocks from Baltimore's Inner Harbor. It serves prime aged beef, local seafood and handpicked produce. The Prime Rib offers private dining rooms for corporate events, wedding receptions and family gatherings, but is also the perfect location for an intimate evening out, offering couples quiet nook tables that are perfect for private conversations. All tables are lighted by a small table lamp to add to the ambiance. With live music every evening, The Prime Rib also offers complimentary indoor valet parking. Hours of operation are Monday to Thursday 5 to 10 p.m., Friday to Saturday 5 to 11 p.m. and Sunday 4 to 9 p.m. Proper attire is business casual and jackets are requested for men dining on Saturday nights.
