Chateaulin

Just steps from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival main stage, Chateaulin serves classic French cuisine in a richly decorated Parisian atmosphere. Pre-theater diners may select appetizers ranging from pate maison to escargots a la Bourguinonne. Main courses include vol-au-vent a la Champignon, filet mignon with classic Choran sauce. For the vegetarian palate, a Duo d'Vegetarien rich with bruleed, and stuffed vegetables, herbs, and spices. The extensive wine list features vintage wines of France, California and Oregon. After the theater, join the party at the bar for cocktails and sample from the bar menu. Chateaulin is open for lunch Wednesday through Saturday. Dinner is served nightly and advance reservations are recommended.

Amuse

French cuisine meets Northwest ingredients and style at Amuse, where the focus in on fresh, organic, and local ingredients. The husband, and wife team that own Amuse bring a wealth of experience from their work in west coast French restaurants. The menu includes potato, and celery root soup swirled with celery oil, wood grilled ribeye with pommes frites, and roasted shallot butter, a finely select cheese course, and decadent desserts. The patio is open in the summer for outdoor dining. Reservations are recommended, and accepted up to two months in advance.

Lela's Café
