El Novillo

Madroño
The Madroño serves reasonably priced meals in a nice atmosphere. Although the food is somewhat hot and spicy, it is incredibly flavorful. Service is generally known to be good, and if you go don't miss the beef strips in creamy jalapeno sauce. One word of caution, however: the Madroño may make it hard to stick to your diet if you're on one.

Yambo
Yambo is something of a hole-in-the-wall -- that is, an established favorite with the locals. Prices at Yambo are low and portions are plentiful. Beyond that, the service is good and the food is delicious. While the neighborhood may be a little less than desirable, the carne asada at Yambo is worth the trip. However, if you're from out of the area, consider Yambo for lunch as opposed to dinner.

Los Ranchos at the Falls
Los Ranchos maintains an upscale feel but manages not to be stuffy. Service is friendly and the bar is lively. More importantly, the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. While the churrascos are perhaps Los Ranchos' most popular item, the jalapeno beef tips are also worth a try.
