Six Flags Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom
The national theme park chain Six Flags has owned and operated the park since 1996. It boasts a 120-foot high, 935-foot long shuttle-style roller coaster called the Boomerang Coast-To-Coaster, and Sasquatch, a tower-drop ride. The Splashwater Kingdom moniker applies to the water park, which includes a wave pool, a partially enclosed water slide, tubing river, among other slides and rides. Splashwater Kingdom also is home to New York State's first indoor water park.
