The Batavia Kill River flows through Delaware County. It is popular for whitewater rafting and kayaking, although some sections of the river are not for beginners. Delaware County is also home to approximately 75 lakes, all of them fishable. Bear Spring Mountain State Park is at the western end of the Catskill Forest Preserve. The park has beaches, campgrounds, boat rentals, fishing and multi-use trails. The towns and villages in Delaware County have a wide range of restaurants where you can have a relaxing dinner or grab a quick meal on the run.

Bluestone Grill

The Bluestone Grill has a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The square bar is the centerpiece of the restaurant with wooden tables and chairs around the perimeter. The menu features roasted wild salmon, seared sea scallops, grilled 14-oz. rib eye, Cuban marinated pork roast and rosemary smoked chicken breast.

The Andel Inn has a full-service bar and a large casual restaurant space. The menu changes depending on what is available.
