Windmill Restaurant
First opened in the 1930s, this renovated restaurant serves locals and visitors a full menu of hand-cut steaks and seafood. Windmill is known for its steaks as much as their Sunday all-day special featuring jumbo prawns. Dress casual and stop in for lunch or dinner. During the summer, ask to be seated on the patio and watch the wildlife enjoying the big pond in back--in cooler weather, a 10-foot fire pit makes for pleasant evening dining.

Rex Restaurant
As popular today as it was in the early 1900s, this steakhouse's architecture may be as impressive as its menu. Take a look at the tin ceiling, tile floors, gorgeous stained-glass furnishings and western motifs focused on the state's history. Inside the menu, you'll find lots of steak dinners as well as fresh seafood, chicken, pork, and lamb. Try the house specialty--rosemary roasted buffalo tenderloin. Appetizers include fresh oysters on the half shell and other delicious starters. Rex is open for dinner only--dress casual and head for the outdoor patio during the summer to enjoy views of the historic district.
