Though technically located in Acme, just east of Traverse City, this hotel has many amenities and is located near the beach, hiking and cross country skiing trails. The Grand Traverse Resort has a spa, five restaurants, a health club, indoor pool and water playground, kids activities and there is a 24-hour dog care on-site with a per night fee. They also have a licensed day care with prior reservations and in-room babysitting for a fee.
