Utila is an 11 kilometer long Island located in the Caribbean sea, just 30 miles off the coast of mainland Honduras. Utila is surrounded by coral reefs and is quite popular with budget traveling outdoor enthusiasts, as it is known as one of the least expensive places to scuba dive in the world. The Mango Inn

The Mango Inn is a hotel and dive operation that is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Utila. The hotel offers rooms and cabins that face a lush tropical garden and come with air conditioning, private bathrooms and hot water. There is a restaurant and bar, called the Mango Cafe, that sits in the center of the garden and is a popular place for travelers to gather after a long day of diving so they can swap stories and tips. The dive operation offers full PADI certified courses and there are accommodation plus dive packages available for all levels of divers.

Margaritaville Beach Hotel

The Margaritaville Beach Hotel is located right on the white sand beach of Sandy Bay, an area that is popular with boaters. The hotel offers private rooms and cabins with air conditioning, private bathrooms and hot water. There is a on-site bar and grill and the hotel is right next to a kayak and jet ski rental agency and a sailboat charter company that books trips to the nearby cays. The Margaritaville Beach Hotel also partners with a dive shop next door that organizes trips into the surrounding coral reefs.
