Fairfield Inn By Macy
Are you traveling with a 40-pound-plus pooch? Many hotels accept only little dogs, usually 15 pounds or lighter. This motor inn, just off the main highway Interstate 95 and less than five miles from Bridgeport, will take dogs up to 50 pounds. The motor inn could use some updating, however. Furnishings, including TVs, bed linens and chairs, are old. Rooms are a bit dark, but you'll get free continental breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking. There's also an outdoor pool, and guests can use the microwave and toaster in the lobby. In 2009, you could get a room for $70. There's an additional $20 a night for pets.
