Dating back to the mid-19th century, Arivaca, Arizona, is loaded with history. The quaint city center draws imagery of the Old West with its adobe-styled buildings and historic archictecture. With the Mexican border only 11 miles to the south and the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge and the Arivaca Cienega and Creek nearby, outdoor activities and adventure are in great abundance. Located in Green Valley 30 miles (55 minutes) northeast of Arivaca, the Wyndham Canoa Ranch Resort gives guests views of the Santa Rita mountain range.
