Charleston, Missouri is a small town in Mississippi County, Missouri. The town has only three main hotels. According to the Charleston Chamber of Commerce website, Charleston is near the Mississippi and Ohio rivers, near wetlands and is the home of the Dogwood-Azalea Festival, so there is plenty of nature for visitors to see.

Comfort Inn

The Comfort Inn in Charleston is near many of the city's main attractions. According to the hotel's website, it is close to the annual Dogwood-Azalea Festival in April, Southeast Missouri State University, Big Oak Tree State Park, Sikeston Memorial Municipal Airport and Cape Girardeau Regional Airport. Big Oak Tree State Park and the Dogwood-Azalea Festival are attractions that individuals who like to walk around and explore nature will enjoy. The hotel is also 15 miles away from a golf course and three miles away from rivers where fishing is allowed. There are also scenic highways that pass through Charleston, so the hotel sometimes appeals to visitors who like to take road trips on beautiful highways.

The hotel itself offers a free continental breakfast with many food options, parking, a business center, high-speed Internet, cable TV and an outdoor pool. Pets under 50 pounds are also allowed with a deposit. The hotel does not have its own fitness center, but there is a fitness center and spa two and a half miles away.

Econo Lodge

The Econo Lodge in Charleston is near many outdoor attractions, so adventurous and active guests will find the location convenient. It is three miles away from the Dogwood-Azalea Festival (in April), eight miles away from the Mississippi River Outlook, 16 miles from the Sikeston Jaycee Rodeo and 25 miles from Big Oak Tree State Park. It is also near a district with many historic Victorian homes, for which Charleston is well known. Other nearby activities include a golf course, a basketball court, a public baseball field, a health club and spa, a billiard room, bowling and fishing, all of which are five miles or less form the hotel.

According to the hotel website, the hotel itself has a seasonal outdoor pool, a picnic area, high-speed Internet, free local calls, parking, cable TV, refrigerators and microwaves. Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
