Casino Shows in San Diego

Casino Shows in San Diego
San Diego is home to many casinos; the area has the highest concentration of Indian casinos in the United States. Many of the casinos feature not only gambling, but excellent restaurants, extensive accommodations and live entertainment. Just as in Las Vegas, San Diego's casinos offer an array of live shows, offering something for everyone.

Live Music

All of San Diego's casinos have live music, but some casinos offer music only on weekends. Music venues vary from night club environments with open dance floors to theater spaces with arranged seating. Acts include local musicians and bands, cover bands and theme bands, and locally and nationally recognized DJs.

Performance Acts

Just as in Las Vegas, some of the most popular acts in San Diego casinos are stand-up comics. Comics include local standouts and national headliners. Other live entertainment includes hypnotists, improvisation groups, magicians, and strip and burlesque reviews. These acts are not as featured as often as they are in Las Vegas, and are more likely to be seen once a week than every day.

Live Sporting Events

While nothing compares to Las Vegas for boxing or mixed martial arts (MMA) competitions, San Diego casinos do an excellent job of providing live sporting events for locals and visitors. Boxing and MMA contests are regularly featured, but you can also see live events for "sports" as questionable as beer pong.

Satellite Events

What events the San Diego casinos cannot present in person they do an excellent job of obtaining on satellite. From championship sports such as NASCAR and heavyweight boxing to live concerts and musical events, you can find many exciting events to attend that are piped in from around the country and the world.
