The Teton Range, part of the Rocky Mountains, is home to the 13,770-foot Grand Teton mountain. Motor coach tours are a convenient way to see the sights without hiring your own transport or worrying about directions. For travelers staying in Jackson, Wyoming or the surrounding area, half-day and full-day tours are available. There are also multi-day tours that highlight the Rocky Mountains and include Grand Teton National Park as part of the itinerary. Some tours include activities such as rafting and hiking, while others are less active.

Gray Line of Jackson Hole: Full-Day Tour

Gray Line offers full-day tours of Grand Teton National Park for adults and children 8 and up. Complimentary pickup is offered for guests staying in Jackson Hole, and pickup in Aspen or Teton Village is subject to a surcharge. The tour includes the Chapel of Transfiguration, historic cabins, Jenny Lake, Jackson Lake, the Colter Bay Indian Arts Museum and a scenic drive along the Snake River. Lunch and park entrance are not included in tour prices. As of 2009, adult tickets were $115 and children's tickets were $57.50. Children under 8 are not admitted on Gray Line's tours of Grand Teton National Park.

Grand Teton Lodge Company: Half-Day Tour

Grand Teton Lodge Company offers a half-day tour that stops at the most famous photo spots: Jenny Lake Overlook, Oxbow Bend and the Chapel of Transfiguration. Tours depart Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. In 2009, adult tickets cost $36 and children's tickets (age 3-11) cost $18.

Tauck World Discovery: Ten-Day Tour

For those who want to make the most of a trip out west, a multi-day tour may be the best option. Tauck offers a 10-day tour from Salt Lake City, Utah to Rapid City, South Dakota that includes Grand Teton National Park, rafting on the Snake River, Yellowstone National Park, Buffalo Bill's hometown, the Bighorn Mountains and Mount Rushmore. All meals, lodging, admission fees and tour guides are included. Prices in 2009 started at $2,830 per person.
