La Teresita Restaurant
La Teresita Restaurant, centrally located in a Spanish neighborhood in Tampa and just a few minutes from the airport, offers traditional Cuban and Spanish food with plenty of spices and flavor. Customers can enjoy the ropa vieja and hot Cuban bread and can get their black beans and rice fix. The restaurant is run by the Capdevila family, who emigrated from Cuba to the United States in 1962 on the Freedom Flights to Miami, Florida. Thus, authentic Cuban style is the only way they cook.
