Travelers coming to the Toronto Pearson International Airport have the option of staying at a hotel close to the runway. Toronto is a vibrant city for sporting events at the Air Canada Centre, where the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team shares the spotlight with the Toronto Raptors basketball squad. The Toronto airport hotel strip is only four miles from the Woodbine Horse Rack Track and an hour from Niagara Falls.

Carlingview Inn

A 24 hour shuttle service brings guests between the Toronto International Airport and the nearby Carlingview Inn. As of November 2009, the inn is updating its rooms that include either a one king-sized bed, and a sleeper sofa bed or two queen beds. Room amenities include free wireless Internet, a flat screen television, and data ports. Guests receive a free continental breakfast, and overnight parking. An in-house restaurant serves Greek dishes and a room service menu.

Holiday Inn

The Holiday Inn offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the Toronto Airport. This 11-floor hotel contains all non-smoking rooms with complimentary wireless Internet access. The health, and fitness center is open all day with treadmills, bikes, and free weights. This Holiday Inn advertises as having the largest saltwater pools, heated for both indoor and outdoor use, along the strip of Toronto airport hotels. Guests can dine at the on-site Metropolitan Restaurant or order from their room service menu during all meals.

Hampton Inn

The Hampton Inn advertises as being five minutes from the Toronto Airport terminal. This hotel contains 200 guest rooms with the option of one king or two queen beds. Both smoking, and non-smoking rooms are available. Rooms contain free Internet access. Overnight parking costs extra but a complimentary hot breakfast is provided for all guests. The hotel contains a fitness center, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool. Pets are not allowed in the hotel.

The Travelodge Hotel offers a free airport shuttle service and operates a 24-hour front desk. Smoking or non-smoking room options contain either one king-sized bed or two double beds. Guests can use free wireless Internet in all rooms, but parking a car or staying with a pet costs extra. The hotel contains a fitness room, indoor swimming pool and sauna with changing rooms. The on-site Caseys Restaurant and Lounge serves all meals. Room service can also be ordered.

Westin Bristol Place

The Westin hotel on Dixon Road provides a free shuttle service for the five-minute trip to, and from the Toronto airport. Non-smoking guest rooms contain a king sized bed or two double beds. Suites are also available with reservations. The Westin Bristol Place houses a heated indoor swimming pool and gym room. The in-house restaurant, and lounge serves meals for a casual crowd and provides 24-hour room service. The Westin hotel, a member of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts group, has a Preferred Guest program for offers on rooms and flights.
