London Bridge

The original London Bridge is gone. Completed in 1209, the wear of time and environmental damage has forced its replacement every 100 to 150 years. The current incarnation opened in 1973. A charitable trust has worked since 2000 to raise money for a museum, with a planned opening to coincide with the 2012 Olympic Games.

Tower Bridge
