Koh Kong is a tiny border village near the bridge to Phnom Penh. Koh Kong is a rare village where life is slow and the ice is still cut by hand. This village has a blacksmith shop and a few souvenir shops that sell dolls and jewelry. Reservations are never needed in Cambodia since the hotels only stay about 10 percent occupied year-round.

Koh Kong Resort

This resort is on a private stretch of unspoiled beach located on the eastern tip of Thailand, 200 meters from the boarder of Cambodia. The resort offers a swimming pool that is close to the sea, fitness center, spa, 24-hour Thai massage, water sports and beach jogging paths. It also is the home of Koh Kong Safari World, with a dolphin show, sea lion show and an orangutan show.

Bopha Koh Kong Hotel

This hotel is one of the cheaper options in Koh Kong, with one bed with air conditioning and a hot shower going for $10 as of 2009, and two beds with air conditioning and a hot shower going for $15. The hotel offers a large meeting room with banquet style seating for about 100 people. The restaurant inside the hotel offers traditional Cambodian cuisine. The front desk can arrange tours to local attractions such as Tatai Waterfall and Koh Kong Island.
