Cardrona Hotel
The Cardrona Hotel is among New Zealand's oldest. It's situated between Wanaka and Queenstown on the South Island. The Cardrona dates back to New Zealand's gold rush days. It and the general store next door are the only buildings remaining from that era. The hotel features 16 rooms, ranging from ones with single beds to ones with one or more queen-sized beds. Pen-Y-Bryn Lodge
The Pen-Y-Bryn Lodge is located on New Zealand's South Island, halfway between Christchurch and Queenstown. Dating back to the 1880s, the hotel has been classified by the Historic Places Trust as a site of outstanding historical significance. Among the hotel's many features are the conservatory, the formal gardens and the dining room, which features a fireplace carved in Italy.

Princess Gate Hotel
The Princess Gate Hotel sits in Rotorua, on New Zealand's North Island. Built in 1897, the hotel has been artfully restored so it is not just a hotel but an attraction for visitors.
