Majestic Hotel

The Majestic Hotel recalls the Art Deco era with rooms that feature wall tapestries and four-poster beds. The full-service hotel opened in the 1920s and today it continues to offer a variety of guest services, including high afternoon tea in the lobby and a continental breakfast. Each suite has a butler pantry, wet bar, refrigerator and microwave. All rooms are non-smoking. While the hotel does not have an onsite gym, guests may use the Bally's Total Fitness next door to the hotel without charge. The rooms have standard services that include premium television channels, terry robes, free Internet wireless, hair dryers, business desk and alarm clocks. Parking is available for an additional fee.

Hotel Sax

The Hotel Sax is designed for technology enthusiasts and gamers. Guest suites, named the "Studio," "Tech," "Boardroom" and "Chairman's Suite," offer the latest technology, including automated command lighting, gaming stations and audio and visual media. Suites are equipped with multi-screen HDTV displays (ranging in size from 65 to 23 inch) in both sitting and bedroom areas of the room. Guest receive a personal laptop at check-in with directions for operating the suite technology. Rooms, with floor-to-ceiling views of the city, accommodate a single guest to several dozen in the largest business suite.The Crimson Lounge, the Sax's on-site nightclub, recreates a Victorian parlor wired for a 36 foot "video wall" and DJ hosted sound. Reservations are required for admission to events at the Crimson.

Hotel Indigo Chicago

Most hotel interiors are designed once and then remodeled after the decor becomes worn or outdated, but the Hotel Indigo located in Chicago's Gold Coast district, has a unique approach to interior design. Each season, the rooms of the hotel are remodeled. Guests visiting throughout the year may request the same room and have a totally different experience. The art and the decor color palette in this establishment transform to suit the season. The hotel features a fitness suite, spa and business service center, and the WiFi services are complimentary. On-site dining includes the casual Golden Bean and the more formal Phi Lounge.

Ame Boutique Hotel

The Ame Boutique Hotel adopted the name from the word "Ameliorate" and the hotel lists the definition of the word, "to make better or improve," on the hotel website and literature. The focus of the Ame is simplicity, from the minimalist furnished rooms to the food preparation. Homemade meals, made from guest selections from a simple list of fresh ingredients, are available served in the rooms or at the hotel restaurant. Room service offers the same individualized meals from 6 a.m. until 2 a.m. each day. Visitors may check into rooms during the day to relax from a hectic day or for personal retreat times with optional naps and massages. Personal care coaches are also available at the boutique hotel.
